Thank you for your note. We had a fantastic vacation in your country. It was a joy to see all the varied terrains and peoples of the country. It also gave us great insight into our shared history.
Your guides and drivers were excellent. They took very good care of us and showed a great sense of responsibility.
The Soffitel Hotel is the best hotel for tourists. It would have been nice to be able to walk into the old quarter from the hotel. I realize this was a last resort because of the busy season. Food in Hanoi was the same we ate in the same restaurant twice that was okay, certainly no Vietnamese eating in these restaurants. There must have been some fine Vietnamese Restaurants in Hanoi.
