Hotel Information

- Address: Street 9, Mondul I, Svay Dangkom , Siem Reap, 17000
Steung Siemreap Hotel is located in the French Quarter of Psah Chas (Old Market), retaining the true colonial French characteristics, including wooden louvre French-windows, doors and wooden floors, complete with wrought-iron balconies. The interiors, whilst youthfully modern, bright and cheerful, retain some semblance of her 1930’s art-deco characteristics, with a hint Khmer flavour. The original Steung Siemreap Hotel, a fine old and elegant hotel, was established in the early 1920s, soon after the construction of the Wat Preah Prom Rath Temple, and was renovated in 2005. We are given to understand the architects and engineers who were building the Raffles Grand Hotel D’Angkor occasionally stayed at the Steung Siemreap Hotel.
